Masthead Print Studio specializes in establishing an environment for local printmakers to create and show their work. Each show is aimed at giving the artists and attendants a look into the creative process. We have done lectures and open studios for such groups as the Mural Arts Program and the Art Factory. Shawn Hileman, Owner, Founding Member & Curator

Shawn has worked as an Art Director and graphic designer for over 6 years. He started Masthead over a year and a half ago with no expectation except to share cake and beer with a couple printers. He has a cat named Esme that hates everyone but is too beautiful to resist. Visitors beware!

JP Flexner, Founding Member, Curator & Resident Vandal

JP is an illustrator living outside the city of Philadelphia. Freelancing in a quaint home with his new wife, dog, and cat. He’s humble and congenial. See his amazingly twisted creations that will make your eyes pop with sensation and envy here!  

James Heimer, Curator & Resident Steward

James has contributed his time and talent to help transform the studio into a gathering space for artists and viewers alike. He’s a screenprinter, teacher, older brother and bomb ass guy. Make sure to keep tabs on this character for he’s not going away anytime soon.

Robb Leef, Curator

Robb Leef is a carbon-based life form, dedicated to precision illustration and printmaking. He currently resides in Philadelphia and is fueled by the fear of boredom and an alternating diet of salty and sugary snacks. Check out his work here.
